Two NHL totals for Monday Nov. 6: Bring on the goals

On Saturday, we cashed both of our NHL totals, a welcome development after we took some lumps in the player prop market. Given the success there, let's stick with the totals for Monday night's  schedule; there are two spots I'm liking quite a bit for goals.

Tampa Bay-Toronto over 6.5 goals (-124 FanDuel)

This should be a fun one between these two Atlantic Division rivals, and I want to load up goals accordingly rather than bet on who gets involved, though I'd be remiss to not toss in that I like William Nylander and Steven Stamkos to score.

Anyway, a simple look at season averages for these two in their locations is more than enough to like the over here. Toronto is averaging 3.6 goals per game and allowing 4.6 more at home this season. Tampa Bay has a similar breakdown, scoring 3.2 goals and allowing 4.4 goals/game on the road.

I also see a power-play edge for the Lightning's top unit should they skate a man-up, which should help them deliver a goal or two.

Six of the last seven regular-season meetings between these two teams have seen 7+ goals, including the first matchup this year. Here's to another goal-scoring spree in Toronto.

Vancouver over 3.5 goals, including OT (-110 DraftKings)

What in the world has Edmonton shown us that suggests they deserve our trust tonight? The Oilers are allowing 5.0 goals per game on the road this season and 4.1/game regardless of location.

Edmonton also has a struggling penalty kill, made worse by handing out nearly four power play opportunites per game.

Vancouver is absolutely humming right now, averaging 4.6 goals per game at home and leading the league with 4.36 goals per contest overall.

The Canucks have already beaten Edmonton twice, dropping eight on them in Vancouver and scoring four back in Edmonton. Again, I see no reason why the Canucks can't do it again here, and at this price, I'll bite.
