Two plus-money SOG props to wrap our NHL week

It's a Friday in the NHL and there's only three games, so we're going to keep it relatively simple. We're after plus-money once again, turning to the alternate shot market to do it.

If you'd like to water down and combine these two looks of mine, by all means, do so. I'll opt for them standalone at a higher total.

.5u: William Nylander 5+ shots (+120 FD)

.5u: Nylander goal (+115 DK)

If you followed yesterday's Sweden game, you saw as the narrative around players from around that area with friends and family watching both delivered, as Lucas Raymond and Tim Stutzle both piled up the shots and scored a goal.

Well, now it's William Nylander's turn. Over 100 friends and family of Nylander are expected at this game, and I expect him to put on a show.

He's gone for 5+ shots in six of his last eight games, and he's scored in three straight. This seems like a necessary bet after yesterday, and the entire NHL community is likely on it. That doesn't make it a bad thing.

.75u: Jeff Skinner 4+ shots (+135 ESPN)

Now I wouldn't typically be looking at Buffalo in this game, but with Tage Thompson now out for the foreseeable future, it felt worth digging into who steps up when the Sabres star forward isn't on the ice.

Jeff Skinner quickly caught the eye. Over the past seven games without Thompson, Skinner has averaged 4.57 SOG/game on 7.43 attempts/game. As the top-line forward, it's clear Skinner takes on the burden of creation when called upon, and I'm willing to bet he aims to do that here tonight.

It sure helps that Skinner has 4+ shots in three of his last four games against Winnipeg.
