Tyson Foerster and 2023 first-round draft pick Oliver Bonk are among 25 players who will participate in the Philadelphia Flyers’ Rookie Camp, general manager Daniel Briere announced.

The on-ice portion of Rookie Camp starts Thursday at 11:30 a.m. with practice at the Flyers Training Center in Voorhees. The Flyers rookies will play the Rangers rookies in Allentown on Friday and Saturday night.

Foerster has an excellent chance to make the Flyers’ opening night roster next month. The forward played eight games with the Flyers last season, scoring three goals and four assists.

Bonk was the 22nd overall pick in June’s draft. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound, right-shot defenseman signed a three-year entry-level contract last month. According to CapFriendly, Bonk’s deal is $3.6 million. Bonk will play with his junior team this season, the London Knights, of the Ontario Hockey League.
