Watch: Avalanche's Nazem Kadri leaves Game 3 of WCF after nasty hit into boards

Colorado Avalanche forward Nazem Kadri left Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals with an undisclosed injury.

Early in the first period, Kadri was hit into the boards by Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane.

Kane received a five-minute major for boarding on the play.

Kadri slowly made his way off the ice but headed straight to the Avalanche locker room and has not returned to the game.

During the playoffs, the 31-year-old has been one of Colorado's most reliable players. In 12 postseason games, Kadri has recorded six goals and eight assists for 14 points.

Kadri contributed to the Avalanche's wins in Games 1 and 2 of the conference finals, tallying a goal and three assists.

Kadri was voted to the All-Star team for the first time in his career this season. He led the Avalanche in assists (59) while finishing third in points (87) and fourth in goals (28) in 71 regular-season games.
