Vegas Golden Knights fans taunted San Jose Sharks winger Evander Kane on Thursday night.

Earlier this month, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that Kane had been sued by The Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas over an unpaid gambling marker for $500,000. Kane reportedly received the marker during the first-round playoff series between the Golden Knights and Sharks in April.

Thursday night marked the first time the Golden Knights hosted the Sharks since the story was reported. So Vegas fans decided to taunt Kane with a “pay your marker” chant:

Give the fans an A+ for their creativity and attention to current events. That was well done.
