Tyler Yaremchuk was joined by Colby Cohen to discuss which current bottom-five team is the closest to exiting their rebuild on the latest episode of Daily Faceoff Live.

Tyler Yaremchuk: This question came in on the heels of our Blackhawks conversation. The bottom-five right now in the NHL is pretty clear cut with the Coyotes, Blue Jackets, Ducks, Blackhawks, and Sharks. Which one is the closest to coming out of their rebuild?

Colby Cohen: That’s a good question. I probably have to go with the Chicago Blackhawks and here’s why, because they have Connor Bedard. Honestly that is where I’m going to go with it. I could have gone with the Blue Jackets but they’re such a dumpster fire right now with no GM, a coach that was not hired to be the head coach originally.

Columbus could be that but I just don’t think that they’ve earned the right to be called that because they’ve been such a s--- show all year. The Blackhawks have Bedard and that is a huge difference maker. You’ve got the future best player in the world in the world blossoming right now.

Tyler Yaremchuk: I mean, just having that superstar forward box checked, it’s something that those other teams can’t say they have.
