As per a report by Kevin Weekes, the Buffalo Sabres are open to the idea of moving on from goaltender Devon Levi, and if they do, the Ottawa Senators could be interested.
Weeks wrote in a social post on Friday, “Per what I’m told @BuffaloSabres G Devon Levi is a name of interest to several clubs including Ottawa that are looking to add to their goaltending position.”

Levi has played 39 games in the NHL. The 138 games he’s played for Rochester haven’t sold the franchise on his NHL-caliber ability. With as many netminders as the Sabres have in their system, it seems logical that GM Jarmo Kekalainen will shop Levi.
“It’s over, it’s over with Devon Levi and the Buffalo Sabres,” said Jeff Marek on a recent episode of his podcast. Elliotte Friedman also wondered recently if Levi was done in Buffalo, which seems to be the consensus feeling around the league.
