Want to rile up Oilers fans? Just put a digital billboard in Edmonton flashing “Go Knights Go.”
That’s exactly what’s happening this morning, right before Game 4 of this second-round series between Pacific Division rivals.

At first glance, you’d think it’s just a local trolling Edmonton fans. But nope, it’s actually PKWY Tavern, a Vegas-based sports bar, making its presence felt far from home.
The billboard features the Knights’ chant and even highlights the exact moment of Reilly Smith’s game-winning goal from Game 3. Clever, right?
These signs aren’t just downtown, they’ve popped up around Edmonton, including Mayfield Common on the city’s west side.
“He thinks he’s trolling by buying those billboard ads. We’re the underdogs, we took two from them in Vegas, they got lucky in Edmonton in a game we tied up, it won’t be the same tonight. The boys will hear of this and throw it straight onto the bulletin board. Don’t poke the bear when your head’s already in its mouth.” – mikedesroches8 via Instagram
“As a Knights fan, I love it. As a businessman, I question the strategy…” – KaspersStats via X
“Is that Skinner’s save percentage they’re advertising?” – Satoshi Banks via X
“Time to fundraise to get The Sphere in Vegas turned into a massive Oilers logo.” – Shawn Mann via X
“These are all over Edmonton. Saw two on my way into work today in St. Albert.” – Adam.Glugosh via Instagram
“I know the owner of the shop. He’s a great guy and highly doubt he did this. As far as I’m aware, he loves racing cars and the Oilers.” – theblueliner via Instagram
Oilers fans are noticing and voicing their opinions online. Some call it cocky. Others grudgingly respect the bold move behind enemy lines.
So remember, Edmonton: If this billboard irks you, direct your friendly frustration toward Vegas, not your local businesses.
Game 4 between the Oilers and Golden Knights goes Monday night in Edmonton at 7:30 PM MT.
