That's right, John Shuster. Take in the Twitter love! Dan Powers-USA TODAY Sports

Curling has been the cult hit of the 2018 Winter Olympic in South Korea. From two senators debating the merits of it as an Olympic sport to Mr. T becoming the next big fan of the game, it has been talked about more than any of us are comfortable with.

But that’s not going to end any time soon. Riding the hammer delivery of skip John Shuster, the United States defeated Sweden in the Gold Medal match early Saturday morning (U.S. time).

It’s the first ever gold for the United States in the sport.

Needless to say, Twitter was abuzz with the victory. Here are some of the best reactions from the social media site.

The Green Bay Packers themselves started the flood of amazing responses.

From there, it was all sorts of awesome.

Yes, there’s a curling club somewhere.

Congratulations to Team USA on this hard fought win. We’ll check back in with you in another four years. Until then, cheers.
