Three-time Pro Bowl WR DeSean Jackson: Rams offense is 'going to be scary'

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver DeSean Jackson believes other teams should be afraid of what the club's offense is going to do this season.

Jackson said with him joining Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, Tutu Atwell and Van Jefferson, the Rams have more receivers than opposing defenses will know how to handle. Of course, he also added the fact that L.A. now has Matthew Stafford at quarterback.

"With a quarterback like Matthew Stafford, it's really mind-boggling for other defenses or defensive coordinators to really be sitting back, like, 'Man, how are we going to stop these dudes?' For me, I've been on some pretty good receiving corps, but Robert and Coop, in addition to Van and Tutu, it's going to be scary," Jackson said on NFL Network.

Jackson signed a one-year, $4.5 million deal with the Rams this offseason and said the team's recruiting pitch, more than anything, focused on how he'd be used in their offense.

The 34-year-old spent the last two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and suffered injuries during both that cut his campaigns short. In eight total games over the last two seasons, Jackson had 23 catches for 395 yards and three touchdowns.

He hopes to remain healthy with the Rams and help the team contend for a Super Bowl title.
