Knicks join exclusive all-time list with 10th straight playoff win

The New York Knicks are now one win away from the NBA Finals after beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 121-108 on Saturday night.

Holding a commanding 3-0 series lead, the Knicks further enhanced their historic postseason run with their 10th win in a row.

New York's 10-game win streak, which started with Game 3 of the first round series on April 25, makes the Knicks the 10th team to win 10 or more games in a row in a single postseason.

Most of the other teams with a 10-game win streak won the NBA title

The 2024 Boston Celtics were the last team to accomplish a 10-game win streak, doing so en route to winning the championship. And the 2017 Golden State Warriors hold the record for the most consecutive wins in the playoffs with 15, a figure the Knicks would match by finishing off the Cavaliers on Monday night and then sweeping the Western Conference champion in the NBA Finals.

But going above and beyond just winning, nine of New York's consecutive wins have come by double digits. The Knicks' only two losses during this postseason, coming within their first three games of the playoffs, were both by one point each.

Jalen Brunson was not to be denied in the Knicks' Game 3 win

In leading the Knicks to their latest victory, Jalen Brunson reached 30 points for the fifth time during the playoffs. He was 10-for-19 from the field and also added three rebounds, six assists and a steal.

Knicks enjoyed big production from role players again

Mikal Bridges finished behind Brunson in team scoring with 22, while OG Anunoby put up 21 with seven boards and four helpers. Karl-Anthony Towns recorded 13 points and brought down eight rebounds and dished out seven assists. Josh Hart even came close to a double-double, posting a line of 12 points and nine rebounds.

The Knicks will look to get the franchise to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999 in Game 4, with tip-off set for 8:00 p.m. ET from Cleveland's Rocket Arena.
