Vans has been one of the leading brands guiding skateboarding’s culture since the introduction of skateboarding in 1966. They are constantly releasing new shoe lines collaborating with other brands and influential people in skateboarding, constantly pushing skateboarding forward.

The brand has been making big moves recently, launching its all-new sub-label and now bringing on Atiba Jefferson to their crew as the Brand Curator, meaning Atiba will play a monumental role in shaping skateboarding's path from the Vans perspective. Read Atiba’s wonderful words in his posting below!

“In 1990 I was 14 and made a $5 deposit @bc_colorado for my first pair of custom @vans chukka boots. I’m honored to announce I’m now a Brand Curator for @vans I’m so excited to create new projects combining all things I love with the foundation of skateboarding. I’m so stoked @vans thank you and shout out @julianklincewicz so honored to be photographed by you.”- Atiba Jefferson
