Cowtown Skateboards, an Arizonia-based skate shop, is gearing up for a hectic weekend as they host their 22nd annual PHXAM contest, on March 23rd and 24th, 2024.

The event is happening at the Desert West Skateboard Plaza, 6602 W. Encanto Blvd, Phoenix AZ, 85035, starting at 9:00 am on Saturday, March 23rd. Free gift bags are being given out to spectators at the gates upon entrance, so plan to get there early if you wanna snag some free gear!

The event details state “Begin at 10 am: JAM FORMAT. 3 riders, 2 minutes broken into heats, 1st Place receives a Golden Ticket to Finals, the next 40 go-to Semi-Finals. Top 6 Women will go straight to the finals to compete for the Women’s prize purse.”

An after-party is to follow that evening featuring The Spits, Zinnia’s Garden, Pijama Piyama, and DJ Goth, put on and presented by Nike SB.
