Big news that broke last night—as we all know, Tyshawn Jones stopped riding for Supreme last year, and announced in February of this year a "Friend of the House" deal with Louis Vuitton. We didn't know the nitty gritty with hit breakup with Supreme—Tyshawn's first sponsor that he's been with for over ten years.

"@tyshawn is taking @supremenewyork to court.According to court documents, the pro skateboarder accused the streetwear label of abruptly ending his $1 million USD a year sponsorship deal and making defamatory comments about him. Jones claims that after collaborating with Supreme for 13 years, the brand cut ties suddenly last September when Jones did a photoshoot wearing Marc Jacobs clothing.Jones is seeking $1.25 million USD in unpaid fees in addition to $25 million USD in damages.Photo: Elsa/Getty Images"

NY Post has a pretty lengthy article on the fall out. It was a Marc Jacobs photo shoot that Supreme claims broke contract.

We'll see where this all goes, whether it gets dragged on for years in legal filings or there's an out-of-court settlement. Regardless, expect Tyshawn to keep ripping and giving us more great skateboarding to watch.
