On Friday, three-time Olympic medalist Lindsey Vonn announced her investment to the National Women’s Soccer League 2024 expansion side Utah Royals FC, a decision that is sure to empower women in sports worldwide.

Now, being a part owner of the club, Vonn posted to Instagram that "women in sports is a movement, not a moment."

Not only does she talk the talk, she acts accordingly. Vonn is "proud" to invest in The Royals’ re-launch with the National Women’s Soccer League.

The Lindsey Vonn Foundation (LVF) plans to donate 25 tickets to every Utah Royals FC home match.

In some ways, this kind of empowerment even more impactful than hosting camps or directly involving people in the playing side of sports.

Watching top athletes play is incredibly inspiring, and seeing women's sports get the attention it deserves could be the tipping point for some young women thinking about pursuing an athletic career.

Through 2023, the Lindsey Vonn Foundation has awarded more than $1,000,000 in scholarships to impact girls from underserved communities.
