Incredibly impactful non-profit Boarding for Breast Cancer is holding a stop of their Love Your Peaks event tour this weekend at Stratton in Vermont as part of East Street Archives Homesick.

Love Your Peaks is a multi-resort event tour that B4BC puts on throughout winter. Each stop includes multiple activities as well as the education with which B4BC has helped so many people.

At Homesick, B4BC will hold a Pink Poker Run, raffles and silent auction, and a tribute ride. Boarding for Breast Cancer founders Lisa Hudson, Tina Basich-Haller, and Shannon Dunn-Downing will be at Love Your Peaks, too.

Check out the whole Love Your Peaks at Homesick schedule and register for the different events.

B4BC was founded in 1996 by friends and influential industry members Lisa Hudson, Dawn Kish, Kathleen Gasparini, Tina Basich, and Shannon Dunn. Friend and snowboard industry member Monica Steward was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 26, at a time when the disease was thought to affect mainly older individuals.

Monica passed two years later. But her spirit lives on through Boarding for Breast Cancer, which was created to raise awareness of the disease among young people. Since then, B4BC has been instrumental in raising awareness about early detection, educating on living a healthy lifestyle as the best prevention, and providing survivor support for those affected by breast cancer.
