Mark McMorris recently posted on Instagram about an injury he is currently going through. What he thought was a black eye ended up as a more severe injury.

Per his caption, he had to under go surgery on his orbital bone and have his nose repaired, and his is grateful for the team that did his surgery and all of the messages he has gotten from his friends and his support system. His caption reads,

"On Monday, I underwent surgery at VGH to have my orbital bone and nose repaired. Dr. Brown and his team did a stellar job, and I’m now officially on the mend. Thank you all for the kind messages and healing vibes! It means a lot❤️ Most of all, thank you to all of my partners who have had my back through this!"

The important message here is that snowboarding is dangerous and it can cause some very serious injuries. Always ride safely and take proper precautions. We are sending the upmost healing vibes to Mark.
