I can not fully tell you what that means to be totally honest, but I do know that Ikon Passes go up significantly in price because I usually procrastinate and buy mine in the fall, which is the worst time to buy it.
The reality is, the early bird gets the worm.
Some of the changes made to this year's Ikon Pass include Crystal Mountain, a ski area in Washington state, having unlimited access on the full Ikon Pass and then five days to Crystal Mountain on the Ikon Base Pass and the Ikon Base Plus Pass.
