From April 8th to the 14th, Whistler is hosting a festival called World Ski & Snowboard Festival. Sounds major, right? It is.

Locals fondly refer to it as WSSF, the World Ski & Snowboard Festival, and it is a vibrant fusion of springtime vigor and Whistler's distinct mountain ethos. This week long extravaganza in April features a flurry of events and activities both on and off the slopes. From thrilling ski and snowboard competitions to pulsating music, captivating art exhibitions, inspiring photography displays, and compelling filmmaking, the festival also offers exhilarating nightlife and some of the season's finest skiing, snowboarding, and après ski sessions. By the sound of it, a mere weekend would not be enough to fully soak in the incredible atmosphere.

Whistler offers world class skiing and snowboarding, stunning mountain views, a vibrant village with shops and restaurants, outdoor activities like hiking and mountain biking, and a lively arts and culture scene on top of this particular festival. It is an amazing place to be a tourist.
