One of the hottest streetwear brands in the game is again collaborating with a company more known for being worn on walks in the woods rather than walks on the runway.

Stüssy and Mountain Hardwear have teamed up again for a joint collection. The drop will be available worldwide at select stores and Stüssy.com on October 31, 2025 at 10 a.m. PST in North America.

If the collection looks familiar, it’s probably because you’ve watched one of Jed Anderson’s video parts. He’s been known to rock Stüssy in the streets, and made some noise in 2003 with a photo he took of dancehall artist Sean Paul wearing Stüssy ahead of an announcement of his own collab.

The SubZero down jackets, water resistant and windproof fleece vests, co-branded long sleeve t-shirts, accessories, and a lightweight Cordura backpack will all be a part of the collection, according to Stüssy.

The brands enlisted part-skier, part-snowboarder Sean Petit for a promotional photoshoot done by Antosh Cimoszko.

A similar drop was released exactly a year ago to the day, featuring different colorways.

Stüssy was born in the late 1980s from the southern California surf scene. Shawn Stüssy was a surfer himself, who shaped boards for the locals in Laguna Beach. What started as screenprinted t-shirts acting as a promotional supplement to the boards soon snowballed into staple in the worlds of surfing and skateboarding. It relied on offering quality clothing in limited supply at select stores across the world. It’s a business model that has since been copied by hundreds of brands in the years that have followed.

Mountain Hardwear was also founded in California, in 1993. It’s focus has been on building essential gear for climbers, mountaineers, and outdoor athletes. MH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Columbia Sportswear Company. Riders Emma Crosby, Hunter Knoll, Jake Kuzyk, and Petit are all members of the athlete team.
