Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been the subject of various rumors about whether he intends to remain with the north London club or explore other options this summer.

With Spurs on UEFA Champions League football doorsteps, former Tottenham player Teddy Sheringham expects Kane to remain with the club and not exit despite some rumors during his interview with The Sun

Sheringham also adds that this summer is different than last year, considering there was uncertainty with the managerial position and no confidence management would get it right.

“I do, I do now, yeah. Last summer was very different to this summer. And I think things have changed at Tottenham. His body language has changed,” Sheringham said.

“Whether he has got accustomed to the whole situation or not, I don’t know. But looking at his body language and his demeanour now, I do think he will be staying at Tottenham.”

The situation is different, considering manager Antonio Conte is at the helm. Furthermore, It seems as though under Managing Director of Football Fabio Paratici, their recruiting appears to be on the right path.

Should they play in the Champions League, then Tottenham becomes an attractive club to improve the squad for the competition next season. All that’s left is to pick up a point against a relegated Norwich City.
