Tanguy Ndombele, who’s had a tough time at Tottenham, is now set on proving himself at Galatasaray.

Since his big move to Tottenham in 2019, things haven’t gone well for him. He didn’t impress managers there, and even a loan to Napoli didn’t work out due to his high price.

Despite his loan move to Galatasaray, issues persisted.

Reports surfaced of disciplinary problems and fitness struggles, including a weight-loss program violation involving fast food and soda, resulting in a clash with the Galatasaray manager.

Initially facing an imminent return to Tottenham in January, a recent turn of events suggests a potential turnaround.

Turkish outlet Haberturk revealed a ‘special meeting’ during the international break, where the Galatasaray manager agreed to give a final chance to Ndombele.

And now another Turkish outlet Sabah (via Sport Witness) has reported that ‘private meetings’ were held between the player, manager, and club president emphasising the need to ‘recover as soon as possible’.

The 26-year-old is working hard and after consulting a nutritionist, he has reportedly lost 3.5 kgs, reaching the ‘ideal weight’ of 81 kgs.

The report further adds that the player’s response was positive and he expressed his determination to remain at Galatasaray and prove everyone wrong.

He said (via Sport Witness): “I will not leave, I will show myself and stay in the team.”

With signs of progress and a renewed resolve, Ndombele seems poised to turn his career around, aiming to redeem himself in the eyes of Galatasaray faithful and possibly earn a fresh start.
