Over the past months, Paris Saint-Germain worked to complete new extension deals with multiple key players. PSG club officials came to terms on new agreements with the likes of Keylor Navas, Angel Di Maria and Juan Bernat.

PSG has now checked off another target from its extension to-do list as it officially announced a multi-year agreement with Neymar. The Brazilian forward will earn €30 million per year from this blockbuster deal.

In essence, Neymar is set for the rest of his footballing career as he will earn a staggering €2.5 million per month.

This does not include the multitude of sponsorship and endorsement deals that he is under contract with. In total, Neymar may now be earning €40 million per year, which would make him among the highest-paid athletes in the world today.

Neymar is well deserving of this new contract. The PSG star now will be looking to continue to establish his status as one of the greatest talents to ever play for PSG.
