AC Milan captain Davide Calabria admits they weren't at their best for victory over Fiorentina.

Milan won 1-0 via a penalty converted by Theo Hernandez.

Calabria said, Today, the only important thing was the result. The performance was secondary. We needed this for our self-confidence too, as some performances were good and we failed to finish the games off," Calabria told Sky Sport Italia.

Wins help you to work better, but we did not feel too downhearted, we just knew that we had to roll our sleeves up."

On 15 year-old Francesco Camarda, he added: I told Camarda a few things, he certainly has talent, but so do lots of young players. He should enjoy this moment, but also work harder than anyone else to make it happen. Now we hope to accompany him on this journey."
