AC Milan chairman Paolo Scaroni has thanked fans for their new season support.

Milan held open training and a bounce game yesterday as it was announced 41,500 season tickets had been sold.

Scaroni said: "I am happy that our fans can embrace their team.

"I'm impressed by the great response for the season ticket campaign, the best in recent years. We truly have wonderful supporters.

"Let's continue on our growth path, all together.

"How many people came here to celebrate the team! A fantastic enthusiasm, the same that we saw in the season ticket subscriptions. This was a year record, everyone expects a great Milan and I expect it too."
