Former AC Milan defender Filippo Galli admits he's a big fan of Fikayo Tomori.

Galli feels the England international has the potential to become one of the best defenders in the world.

On the former Chelsea stopper, Galli told Tuttosport: "He continues to grow. On the pitch he has achieved that awareness which has made him a fundamental player for Milan and for the his coach. This trust has helped him and continues to help him improve game after game.

"But his strength is that he has managed, in difficulties, to help himself even on his own. Thanks to his personality. Now back there he has become an irreplaceable leader...

"Tomori has to be Tomori. And when Fikayo is the real Tomori on the pitch, there's nothing left for anyone.

"Sometimes he has this impetuosity in attacking forward which, on the one hand, is an advantage, on the other he has to learn how to manage because it can cost him some cards. But he knows this too. At the Olimpico against Roma he was sent off and certainly could have managed his aggression better. That aggression, however, at the same time makes him unique."
