That’s according to Football Insider, who claims the England international is prepared to leave the club if he is not going to be viewed as the Red Devils’ number one next season.

Currently, in competition with long-time number one David De Gea, Henderson is trying to cement his place down as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper.

However, fans may be forced to let Henderson go after it has been claimed AC Milan have an interest in the 24-year-old shot-stopper and could look to him to become the long-term replacement for Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Football Insider also recently claimed that Henderson is considered as a bit of a ‘big time Charlie’ behind-the-scenes, with the keeper’s attitude unsettling United’s coaches as well as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Despite the uncertainty now surrounding Henderson, the report also suggests that Solskjaer is ‘open’ to selling either of his first-choice goalkeepers.

Since emerging through the Red Devils’ youth academy, Henderson has gone on to feature in 26 matches, in all competitions, keeping 13 clean sheets, along the way.
