The agent of Simon Kjaer admits he could've left AC Milan in January.

The Denmark defender had an offer from Fenerbahce.

Agent Mikkel Beck told Bold: I won't comment on the names of specific clubs. But Simon is, he has always been and will always be the subject of interest in every transfer window in international football, and it is true that in January there was interest from several European clubs, including very large ones.

"But Simon already plays for a very big club and was not at all interested in leaving Milan in the middle of another exciting season.

It's true that Fenerbahce asked for information about Simon. He was a big star of that club and their dream is still to bring him back to his homeland. But he wasn't even close to a transfer, because in the midst of an exciting season with Milan, it wasn't the right time for Simon to consider them."

He added: We have not yet spoken with the club about next season. We will do it when the time is right for both parties. Simon would like to renew, but otherwise he is in a perfect situation as he is free to move this summer after the European Championship with Denmark."
