AC Milan are interested in signing Club Brugge winger Noa Lang as recent reports have suggested, his agent has confirmed.

Lang continues to catch the eye of a number of top clubs no doubt given his exploits both domestically but also now on the European stage, as the 22-year-old former Ajax starlet caught the eye during Club Brugge’s recent 1-1 draw against PSG.

His agent Bart Baving of the Team Wass agency gave an exclusive interview to Calciomercato.it to discuss the future of his client and how he can develop.

“The good thing about Noa is that he is very critical of himself. Immediately after the match with Paris Saint-Germain he said he could and should have done better. But it was an excellent team performance and then Noa is now able to play an important role,” he said.

“What if so many clubs phoned me the next day? Well, he’s 22 and with his numbers of goals and assists it is normal for many clubs to take an interest and follow him.”

Calciomercato.com reported earlier today that Milan – after the success of the Saelemaekers operation – are always looking with particular attention to the Belgian league and they have two players on their wish list.

Under the magnifying glass of the Rossoneri scouting department are Club Brugge duo Noa Lang (22) and Charles De Katelaere (20). The former racked up 16 goals and 7 assists in 29 league games last season and plays predominantly on the wing.

“It’s true, I know the Rossoneri appreciate him a lot,” Baving added. “But, I repeat: it’s normal that a player with his statistics and numbers can make him appealing to many club. Now, however, he is completely focused on Club Brugge, he wants to become Belgian champion again.”

“He always works hard and has excellent technique, dribbling and vision. He is also an excellent decision maker and a neat finisher. He is also a generous player, anything but selfish. I’ve heard a lot of people say he’s like Neymar, especially after the PSG match.”
