The agent of Udinese striker Beto isn't surprised by rumours of interest from Everton.

Paulo Regula, speaking to Sport Italia, says it's normal for Beto's performances to attract attention from elite clubs and he has hopes of the forward emulating the likes of Napoli superstar Victor Osimhen.

"Everyone sees what Beto is doing," he said. "We see it, and the top clubs see it in the same way. His performance speaks for itself and it's not normal given the fact he arrived in Italy from a small club (Portimonense).

"This is what arouses the interest of big clubs, I find it normal."

Asked whether Beto can hit the heights of a striker like Omishen, Regula added: "I am extremely convinced of this. After going through a normal period of adaptation, after last year's injury, Beto has shown certain numbers that prove just that: 9 goals and 1 assist this season are important numbers for a new boy in one of the best European leagues."
