The agent of Roberto Firmino says a decision over his future at Liverpool will be decided in the coming weeks.

Firmino has been linked with Real Madrid as his contract runs down.

Firmino's agent Roger Wittman has detailed the current position of his client with a final call likely in the coming weeks.

It's a very long relationship between Roberto and Liverpool," Wittmann said to Sky Deutschland. Roberto feels good. At the moment, we're in a great exchange and in February we'll probably know where the journey is going.

But Roberto also has to have a say in order to reach an agreement with Liverpool. We're on the right track (and) we're having really good talks with Liverpool. They're a superbly positioned club."
