Al-Hilal are reportedly interested in making a move for Lazio full back Adam Marusic in the upcoming January transfer window.

The 31-year-old Montenegrin, who has been with the Biancocelesti since the summer of 2017, has continued to feature prominently under Maurizio Sarri this season, seeing 792 minutes of action across 10 appearances in Serie A and the Champions League.

With less than two years left on his contract in Rome, Lazio are unlikely to offer a new deal to Marusic as they look to the future, making a sale in the coming months a likely outcome.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Al-Hilal are thinking of picking up Marusic in the upcoming January transfer window, allowing him to reunite with former teammate Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Should the Montenegrin depart, Lazio have already lined up two possible replacements. The first is Cremonese’s Emanuele Valeri, a fan of the Roman club, who has entered the last year of his deal with the Grigiorossi.

The other idea is Lokomotiv Moscow’s Nair Tiknizyan, who is already being followed by some Biancocelesti scouts, who kept a close eye on him during Armenia’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Latvia.
