Tottenham Hotspur are one of the Premier League clubs keen on signing Ederson from Atalanta.

The 24-year-old Brazilian has established himself as a key player for the Italian club and his performance have attracted the attention of the North London outfit. According to Alasdair Gold from Football London, Spurs are ‘keeping an eye’ on the player.

Tottenham want to sign a midfielder in the summer and they are looking at other options as well. It will be interesting to see who they end up with.

Ederson has proven his quality in Serie A and he has the physical and technical attributes to do well in England as well. A move to Spurs could be the ideal next step in his career. The 24-year-old could improve further with regular game time in England.

Spurs are pushing for Champions League qualification and a top four finish would make them an attractive prospect for talented players like Ederson.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can get a deal done.

Tottenham looking at Ederson and Conor Gallagher

They have dealt with Atalanta in the past for Cristian Romero and they will look to use those connections and iron an agreement for Ederson this time around.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been linked with a move away from the club and Spurs will need to replace him adequately. Signing someone like Ederson would be a wise decision and he could fit in perfectly.

The Brazilian will add creativity, goals and work rate to the Tottenham midfield.

Tottenham have been linked with Conor Gallagher from Chelsea as well, but it is fair to assume that Ederson would be a cheaper alternative. It remains to be seen how the situation develops.
