Alexis Mac Allister scored the first goal of his Liverpool career with an incredible strike against Fulham on Sunday.

It arrived in the 38th minute when the Argentina international rocketed a remarkable half-volley into the top corner of Bernd Leno's net from 30 yards.

This was the 17th goal of Mac Allister's Premier League career. He had bagged 16 times in 98 appearances for former club Brighton.

Mac Allister's wonder-strike put Liverpool 2-1 ahead.

A brilliant Trent Alexander-Arnold free-kick had earlier opened the scoring before Harry Wilson equalized for Fulham by scoring against his former club.

But Fulham leveled again before half-time thanks to a goal from Kenny Tete in added time.
