Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr experienced another heavy defeat against European opposition on Thursday night.
Three days after losing 5-0 to Spanish side Celta Vigo, Al Nassr were thrashed 4-1 by Portuguese champions Benfica.
Ronaldo played 84 minutes of Thursday's game, which took place at the neutral venue of the Estadio Algarve - situated around 135 miles north of Lisbon.
But Ronaldo was upstaged by former Real Madrid teammate Angel Di Maria.
Argentina winger Di Maria opened the scoring for Benfica with a fine run and finish in the 23rd minute.
Later in the first half, Di Maria got the better of Ronaldo one-on-one when he cheekily flicked the ball over the Al Nassr captain's head before turning sharply and drawing a foul.
Goncalo Ramos scored twice and 19-year-old Andreas Schjelderup also netted for Benfica.
Al Nassr's goal came courtesy of Khalid Al-Ghannam and was assisted by Brazilian Talisca, who previously played for Benfica between 2014 and 2016.
Next up for Al Nassr are two more friendlies against European clubs.
Ronaldo and Co will now travel to Japan where they will take on French champions Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday and then Italian giants Inter Milan two days later.
