Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has spoken about new signing Leandro Trossard settling with the team.

The Belgian came on to help the Gunners defeat Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.

Trossard has been signed as a squad depth option by Arteta this winter, having fallen out of favor at Brighton.

Asked about Trossard settling quickly, Arteta told a news conference: That's what I like about him.

I see a player that is willing to make things happen and who is really composed, especially in the final third. It's something we needed in the team and straight away he had a beautiful impact in the team to help us to win it."

He then added about new signing Jakub Kiwior: Well he gives us more cover. We've been with three centre backs which is very short. We've been very lucky with injuries and we needed to recruit.

We've done it. Jakub can play in different roles and is a versatile player and he'll strengthen the team. If there's anything else available that can make us better we'll look at it."
