Aston Villa midfielder Youri Tielemans is eager to secure Europa Conference League progression this week.

The Premier League side are set to take on Legia Warszawa on matchday five at home on Thursday.

A win would be enough for Villa to move into the next stage of the competition.

We are aware of that [group runners up will take on Europa League third-placed teams in a round of 32 game], and that's why we want to be top of the group," said Tielemans at Wednesday's pre-match media conference.

But obviously the first focus is to qualify overall and if we can be top, that's the best thing."

Hopefully we can get the scoreline sorted earlier," he added on the game itself.

The atmosphere has been really good, not only in the Conference League but also in the other competitions.

Obviously we want to win the game and hopefully be first in the group."
