Premier League high flyers Aston Villa may not have as much concern as first thought about a key defender.

The Midlands club are cautiously optimistic Pau Torres will be available for their upcoming league clash.

Villa face a Premier League game on Saturday, when they go to Luton Town and attempt to try and stay in the top four.

Torres had to come off at half-time in their Premier League game at the weekend, the 4-2 win over Nottingham Forest.

Muscle pain was the cause, with Torres being assessed by the medical staff so far this week.

The consensus among the club, per the Express and Star, is that he should be available soon enough.
