Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann has called Alexis Sanchez after insulting the Inter Milan striker last night.

Griezmann has apologised to Alexis after he called him a "s***hole" in his attempt to motivate Jan Oblak before the Inter man took his penalty in their Champions League shootout.

"He's a s***, the Chilean is a s***," Griezmann shouted at his goalkeeper, trying to inspire him.

The action is something that is normal in South American football and Alexis had no issue with Griezmann after Inter's defeat.

Thus, when Griezmann contacted him to convey his apologies and explain the reason that had led him to say those words, the former Barcelona player quickly forgave him.
