Milan are looking for a playmaker on the transfer market following the departure of Hakan Calhanoglu, who has officially signed for Inter. Several players have already been mentioned as potential replacements for the No.10.

The Rossoneri are currently in negotiations with Real Madrid over Brahim Diaz, but due to Calhanoglu’s departure another playmaker will also be needed. According to Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews, there are several players on their radar.

The strategy is to wait and see if some players that are no longer key for their respective club will be available on a cheap, or on loan. The list includes Ziyech, Ilicic, Rafinha, James Rodriguez, Under, Lemar, who could be last-minute opportunities.

It’s the first time Lemar’s name has been mentioned and it would certainly be an interesting signing for Milan. However, a lot can happen in the upcoming weeks and the club could end up going for someone completely different.
