Real Betis striker Ayoze Perez admits defeat to Rangers wasn't good enough on Thursday night.

The 3-2 defeat sees Betis forced into the Europa Conference League.

Perez said, "You have to demand more. We were at home, we depended on ourselves and we conceded very easy goals. They didn't do anything out of this world. Scoring two goals and losing says a lot about the fact that we were not focused enough, they scored goals against us with little and they held on to that.

"The result is what it is. We have to demand more from ourselves. A hard blow for us because it depended on us to move forward in the competition.

"It's details. Lack of concentration, call it what you want. The referee makes mistakes on several occasions. Details, but we cannot excuse ourselves on that. That on a throw-in they end up scoring a goal in the other area... Lack of aggressiveness. Details. We haven't done enough to move forward."
