Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has left the door open to a return to his parent club whilst he is out on loan with Roma.

The Lukaku saga has been a nightmare for Chelsea, after having spent £100m odd on bringing him in, he has spent more time out at other clubs on loan.

It was supposed to be the dream return, but then he did that stupid interview midway through the season whilst Thomas Tuchel was in charge at Chelsea, and everything went down hill from there.

But his loan move at Roma comes to an end this summer so the decision on what happens next with Lukaku will once again need to be made. Not many clubs are going to be willing to pay much to sign him on a permanent deal at this stage, and perhaps only Saudi clubs might be willing to do that.

So Chelsea and Lukaku will have a big decision to make, and the striker was asked about returning to Chelsea this week.

Well, as you can see below, he didn’t completely rule it out!
