This is a Chelsea predicted lineup for their Premier League clash with Sheffield United on Sunday, April 7. The Blues come into this one off the back of a 4-3 win over Manchester United on Thursday, leaving little time for them to turnaround and get geared up for another match.

Chelsea Predicted Lineup vs Sheffield United in Premier League Clash

How Chelsea Have Lined Up Recently

Djordje Petrović has been the mainstay in goals. The back four has featured Marc Cucurella, Trevoh Chalobah, Benoit Badiashile, Axel Disasi, and Malo Guto as starters with injuries severely limiting the options.

Enzo Fernández and Moisés Caicedo has been the regular defensive midfield pivot with Cole Palmer, Mykhailo Mudryk, Conor Gallagher, and Nicolas Jackson emerging as the main attacking four.

Chelsea Recent Form and Tactics

Mauricio Pochettino has remained strict to his 4-2-3-1 formation with the team on a run of six matches without losing in all competitions, they’re are also undefeated in their last six in the Premier League specifically. The only drawback is they’ve tied a good number of those matches with some being tight wins or poor results against worse opponents.

The big issue that the manager will have to address is the defending. This squad has let in at least two goals in each of their last six outings, with United putting three past Petrović. The team still only has two clean sheets in all of 2024, something that will have to be rectified soon.

Chelsea Injuries to Consider

With such a short time between matches and the manager’s press conference already behind us there’s been no new update on most of the injured player’s. As such it’s best to assume that the squad will still be without Ben Chilwell, Levi Colwill, Christopher Nkunku, Romeo Lavia, Lesley Ugochukwu, Wesley Fofana, and Reece James.
