Barcelona coach Xavi took aim at the match officials after victory at Alaves.

Barca won 3-1, with Vitor Roque - but also being sent off on the day.

Xavi said: "It was a very demanding and physical field. We knew how to suffer. I am very happy. Great group reaction. Today it was a very demanding field, a lot of concentration for the 90 minutes. Despite the goal conceded, the only negative moment, the team has been very good, with and without the ball.

"I am leaving satisfied."

On Roque's red card, he said: "It's a mistake, another mistake by the referee towards us. You've seen it. I only ask that they let us compete. I'm not going to talk more about the referees. Today is another flagrant mistake.

"We are paying for the Negreira case. But I'm not going to talk about the referees. You already see the reality. I won't say it anymore or you'll kill me. Another mistake, again."

On Roque, Xavi added: "He has a goal. Arrival. Depth. His expulsion is unfair. We are going to appeal it."
