Barcelona coach Xavi's chat with Jordi Alba about a difficult past season has been shown in a new documentary.

Alba left Barca this summer for Inter Miami after struggling for minutes last season.

In a conversation after the end of the campaign, Xavi told Alba: "As a teammate, as a coach, as a cul, for me you have been the best full-back that has passed through here. And I wish you all the best, this is your home.

"I already told you that we all wanted, and I the first, that you leave with greatness, I think you deserve it. And if at any time you have felt disappointed, especially with me, it feels bad to me. It was nothing personal, you know that. I have a lot of affection, respect and admiration for you. You already know that I love you a lot, I know you have a very big heart.

"But you have to make decisions, and these decisions are usually difficult, especially when it comes to coaching friends."
