Barcelona legend Carles Puyol admits he'd like to speak with Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr about his on-field antics.

Puyol feels Vini Jr's behaviour is holding him back from reaching his potential.

The former Barca captain said: Vinicius is a very great footballer who makes differences and would have to be admired in all fields.

"Great players have come to Camp Nou that despite being rivals they are admired for being great players. I would love to speak to him as a professional partner and tell him what I think and feel about him.

"If he changed his attitude he would have more recognition. If I talked to him I would tell him what I think about him."

Asked by the Negreira case, Puyol came out in defense of Bara: "I am convinced that we have not bought referees and we will see what justice says. In this sense, I am very calm."
