Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel says reversing his resignation is unlikely.

The former Chelsea manager will leave at the end of the season.

"Since we decided to separate at the end of this season, the club has begun an intense search for a new coach," said Tuchel. "In fact, this thing probably started even before our conversation, in which we agreed on our farewell.

"Now it would be wrong to say 'Ah, now we'll continue with you' and backtrack. No, from my point of view this is clear."

He previously said on Friday: "The termination of the contract has been agreed, this is a fact. But any agreement can be canceled jointly, as you can see. Because we had a contract in place and we decided to terminate it so anything is possible."
