Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane is happy for Mikel Arteta over his success with Arsenal.

Sane worked with Arteta when he was assistant manager at Manchester City.

Ahead of tonight's Champions quarterfinal at the Gunners, Sane said: "In the last few days things have gone a lot better and I felt good in training so I'm looking forward to it.

"Kane? I hope he continues his good score against Arsenal because it would be good for us. It will definitely be a special match for him, there's no doubt about that. It's really easy to play with him because he's an intelligent player.

"He knows how his teammates play, their strengths. He uses it for his own way of playing and to help the team. The way he plays matches mine and that's why there is a connection with other players too. He helps a lot because he is an extraordinary striker.

"Arteta? It was great. I was really pleased to work with him because he helped me a lot at Manchester City.

"We talked a lot individually about how I can improve my game. What are my weaknesses and strengths. Thanks to him I achieved rapid and enormous improvements thanks to the ideas he gave me. I still keep them in my mind. If it's about positioning, how I have to behave in certain situations, I'm happy about that."
