Tottenham are keen to strengthen their attack in the upcoming transfer window with several names being linked with a move.

A new winger is said to be high on priority for the North London club and according to a recent reports from The Independent’s Miguel Delaney, Wolves’ right-winger Pedro Neto remains a primary target.

The Portuguese attacker is highly coveted for his pace and creativity, qualities that align with Tottenham’s playing style under manager Ange Postecoglou.

Wolves may be forced to sell their star player in the summer in order to adhere with the League’s Financial Fair Play rules.

Another player linked with the club recently is Hull City’s emerging star Jaden Philogene.

Despite Aston Villa holding a £15 million buy-back clause for the left-winger, former Spurs defender and BBC Radio 5 Live pundit Alan Hutton believes that Philogene may opt for a move to Tottenham to further his career.

Speaking to Villa News, Hutton remarked on Philogene’s potential decision, highlighting Tottenham’s progressive approach under Ange Postecoglou as an appealing factor for the young winger.

He said:
“Fair play to him, he’s left and gone to Hull and done really well and now other teams are looking and he might feel as though he doesn’t want to go back, he’ll want to move forward in his career and try something else.

“Obviously, Tottenham under Ange have been a breath of fresh air so that might be something that he may feel suits him better than going backwards.”

The London-born talent’s contract with Hull City extends beyond two years, indicating his long-term commitment to the club.

He has been enjoying a great season, racking up eight goals and six assists in 22 appearances in the Championship.

At just 22 years old, Philogene’s performances have drawn praise from pundits and fans alike, with many tipping him for a bright future in the game.

TBH Says:

While he may end up being a decent signing for the club, we just don’t feel he is the sort of player we will be targeting this summer.

Multiple reports have suggested that we will be going for a big name player which is why links with the likes of Neto or Raphinha would make more sense.

That being said, you never know with us!
