Celta Vigo coach Rafa Benitez was delighted with their 3-0 win at Osasuna on Sunday.

Jorgen Strand Larsen, Luca de la Torre and Anastasios Douvikas struck for Celta.

Benitez said: "The team has done well and I would highlight the commitment of all the players, the effort from minute one to the end, which they have been doing in every game but when you win you get a better taste in your mouth.

"This victory is important for everyone. I have already explained it on more than one occasion, this is a new project that needs results to confirm everything you say and for people to believe you.

"Today was that type of match, in which everything you are working on and preparing for in each training session is reflected on the field. That means that the project and the club are moving in the right direction, another thing is that you have to walk faster."

He added: "Defensive organisation is not achieved if there is no commitment from the players. They are showing their face in every game, with more or less success, and today luck and success smile on you and you get a great result, which gives more strength and confidence for the future.

"We have played many games with a good counterattack but then we conceded goals, on this occasion everything has been favourable. We are not the fastest, but we have been precise."
